Wood-Fired Brick Oven Organic Bakery Breads

The aroma of fresh-baked sourdough organic bread that fills our bakery brings us back to a time when the village bakery was an essential part of community life. Because we had an overwhelming response to our first whole grain wood-fired brick oven sourdough loaves, we know that many people feel the same comfort in a tasty, handmade organic whole grain bread.

Only the finest organic whole grain flours are used, and several varieties are made with grains such as organic spelt and organic kamut that are easier to digest for people sensitive to wheat. The sourdough bread is leavened with a flour-and-water sourdough culture, which takes advantage of wild yeasts naturally occurring in the air and on the grains. This process develops the unique flavors and textures of these brick oven-baked organic breads.
