Organic Savory French Brioche

The proof is in the pastry! One bite through supple, flaky dough into delicately flavored filling will tell you all about Chef Guy Birenbaum's early apprenticeships with exacting French culinary artists, his decades of working as a chef, and above all his quest for a perfect brioche.

Organic Brioche and Guy's stellar Chicken Pie start with a tender organic dough of unbleached flour, Cowgirl Creamery fromage blanc and Straus organic butter. The pastry is then filled with delights like carmelized onions, spinach, sweet potato or organic free range chicken. Enhanced by Chef Guy Birenbaum’s specialty pesto or an organic artisanal cheese, the light, baked delicacies are perfect for lunch, appetizers or dinner.

After thawing and removing the wrapping, warm in oven for 10 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees. No need to oil or butter the cookie sheet. Weight is 6 to 7 ounces, one serving per vegetable brioche.
